Hi
so after emailing attwood about my pole light terminals being broken...turns out the particular semi crescent shaped male connection pole o have was only made for a few years and doesn’t exist anymore. I need to buy a whole new pole and female insert for the boat. They are now round 2 pin terminals on the bottom of the pole. Does anyone know if the female insert that goes on the actual boat is going to be the same size and direct fit ?
Thanks.

Not quite sure what you're asking but I'll give it a shot. Almost any base (that mounts to the boat) that you would find here on iboats or other online marine supply places will fit any pole light you would find at the same places. I think it's kind of like an industry standard of sorts. Most or all will have a circular hole with two pins. The light pole may have a small tang on it that mates with a slot on the base so you can only install the light pole one way.

That said, the hole in your boat that your current base mounts in may or may not need some tweaking as well as the screw holes. I've never seen a crescent shaped male connection.

Hope that helps.

yeah. Basically just wondering if a newer type base female insert will go right in where the original is. Don’t like the idea of cutting a new hole really.
