atv tire with cord damage

I dumpster dived a set of atv tires from work, keep in mind I work at a state facility known for throwing out ALOT of good usable stuff.
Turns out the tires were on a brand new piece of equipment (vent trax) sidewalk sweeper and the operator curbed it and poped both tire beads, the mechanic I talked to that changed the tires said the cords were damaged and thats why they were pitched.
I put the tires on my rims and aired them up, I can see the sidewall begin to bulge out at the 25psi bead seat pressure but at the 7psi running pressure they look fine, anyone have experience in this area, it's just a slow underpowered golf cart I put them on.

They will probably work fine since they will be on a light loaded cart vs a sweeper. If you get use out of them and they last you a year you are ahead of the game.

I have seen some absolute terrible atv tires run on machines and the only severe problem has been people putting tractor treaded oversized tires on and they stress the wheel bearings.

I put big ole mudders on my Honda and have had to change all the driveline bearings. Mostly due to water intrusion. Not really sure how that happened.......

I remember putting a tube into a tubless tire with sidewall damage once, it did help it hold air.

Like rbh said. If your really worried about it run a tube and you'll be fine. I hit a burried fence post in a water hole similar to the one in the picture that pierced the sidewall. I bought an impliment tube(seem to be thicker rubber than a standard tube) from our local TSC and ran the tire for 2 more years.
