i have a 98 johnson 50 spl, i can't get the warning horn to sound, i tried a new horn and tried grounding heat warning wire to ground. in the service manual it lists an adapter to be used when you are not using the 8 pin connector. is this my issue? i have the 8 pin connecter not plugged in to anything but the two pin is going to the horn? help please i want to get this on the water this weekend.
