that's a bunch of speakers to hook to 1 amp. do you know how they are wired? do you know what sort of load, in ohms, your amp can handle?

2 subs, 2 6x9's, 6 mids, 4 tweeters

i haven't really looked at wiring since i wired mine but that would be a tricky combination. if your amp isn't stable at whatever ohms are pulling on it, damage could result.

i had a buddy in college that thought you could keep adding speakers to a receiver and it would just keep on playing...nope, it will release the smoke of death.

You can add as many speakers as you like with two caveats:

1) you must wire them in series/parallel sets so the impedance stays within the amplifier's requirements. Example: 4 - 8 Ohm speakers in parallel will result in 2 Ohms at the amp, bad for some amps. 2 sets of these 4 in series will be 4 ohms at the amp, just fine. Or 2 speakers in parallel in series with another pair in parallel.. 4 speakers, still 8 Ohms at the amp.

2) the more the # speakers, the more amp power required to reach reasonable sound levels out of each speaker.
