Look at where this guy has his axle on this trailer :eek::

Found it on CL (at least I now know what my boat looked like when new.. this is in primo condition for a '91!

They must haul all their PFD's in the open bow to reduce tongue weight on the trailer. Or maybe they are counting on an aerodynamic lift on the bow when hauling at higway speeds and then they have the benefit of extra low speed traction at the ramp..

If there is no motor in the boat, then they would need the wheels almost that far back to get the 10% tongue weight..........TIC
