Don,... Actually I was thinking of the 'ell raised down here in the cellar,... Back when it Was the cellar..
JB was the Main Mod,+ the politics used to get, shall we say Hot, at times...
These 2 Men have taught me untold lessons in many things,...
Don, about boat motors, drivelines,+ the finer points of being a Diagnostician,...
And some easier ways of doing things on a 'puter....

And,.. JB,... You've taught me more about Myself,+ my thought process than I even knew I needed to know,...
For that,... A Truely heart felt, Thank You Sir....

Ayuh, while I probably run at about a 37.2% rate in the "stuff vs. fluff" category you need to be recognized for a rate that is probably well into the 90's. Very rarely do I see anything but constructive help on a variety of technical topics. I've always believed strongly in a need for practical experience mixed with book smarts. Your posts help keep this place balanced from that standpoint. Your quick, and sometimes frank , suggestions are just what some posters need (and want) to hear. Even when your posts are delivered with no grease at all, they are worth reading and following. Thanks!

Thanks for all you've done and the advice you've provided to so many people. Some of it not even technical, just good ol' common sense! Of all the boards I visit, there's always one guy that knows his *****, comes across a little rough around the edges sometimes but in the end is RIGHT with what they post and always leaves the OP having to eat their hat when they feel they've been knocked down a notch. The world needs more people like you sir.

A little off topic but you remind me of the mentor I have for motorcycles. I spent a lot of my teenage years hanging around his shop... he's not computer literate and I can picture you typing like him. Even talking face to face with him though he gave answers that were short, full of advice and forced you to figure out things. Was never a spoon feeding, just words of wisdom to help you figure out and learn. If you were starting to screw up he would step in and help, but it was always his goal to get you to learn, rather then being told.

Always been my understanding that Ayuh = 'Ahh yeah', similar to 'oh yes'. Depending on the tone it is said with it can be have a positive (oh right!) or negative (uhhh ummm riiiight) connotation
