back of gauges, mph,gas,rpm

back of gauges has send/grnd/igntn posts.

do each need a power or can i jump from one to next?

which one gets power? the grnd i figured out.

have purple power coming off motor harness.

explain back of volts also.

IGN is power with the key on.
Yes you can daisy chain them, one to the next, to the next, and so on.

So what does the back of the voltmeter say? Can't help unless you indicate terminal ID. But the wiring is the same. "L" = light. "I" = +12 volts when the key is on. Ground symbol or "G" = ground. There is no "S" (sender) terminal on a voltmeter like the other gauges.
