After a few weeks of issues, I got back on the lake last night. My 84 Force 125 had no power above an idle. Turns out a pinched wire behind the power pack had lost it's insulation and was grounding against the block.

I fooled with a lot of stuff to figure that out and while it mostly ran great I still have an issue. There is an area in the middle of the RPM range that it just seems to hesitate and run rough.

Idle to 2000 RPM it's fine, 4000 RPM and over it's smooth as can be with lots of power but in the middle it feels like the boat is bucking, struggling hesitating.

Carbs out of sync or mixture set wrong?

I appreciate any suggestions!

Jeff
