I Purchased A Prop From Iboats Invice 601450 An Apollo 993144 With A 991008 Hub Kit When I Installed It My Prop Nut Would Go Into The Hud Spline Adaptor And Not Tighten I Called Iboats C/s Which Refered Me To (with No Extension Number )to Tech Assistance Michigan Wheel After Finaly Geting Them The Rep Could Not Give Me And Answer Said He Would Have To Get With An Engineer And Get Back To Me That Was Over 2 Weeks Ago If I Get This Straight I Wont Make This Mistake Agin

I really hope you communicated better with them than this post implies. Puncuation, use of capitals, and sentence structure are good things. :)

It sounds like you got the wrong hub kit for your application. what motor and out drive do you have???

Ayuh,... It sounds like you're Missing the Thrust Hub,....

Btw,... If you didn't need the English Class,...
We wouldn't have to bother being the instructors of said class....

well you failed to mention what your using it on so this is just a WAG
if its on a mercruiser drive they use a different backing adapter for a solid-pressed in hub shock rubber, as apposed to the slip in changeable hub adapter
I really hope you communicated better with them than this post implies.
as 45 stated its not real clear what your problem is. other than you have a new prop that wont work on your equipment

Ordered plenty of stuff from Iboats and never had a problem :rolleyes:
