Re: Bad ebay experiences

That is totally messed up. I wouldn't change my recommendation either - leave it negative. I bought my boat on eBay, and one of the main reasons I bid on her was because of the seller's feedback. Changing your feedback puts other buyers at risk.

"tthe highest bider decided they didnt wan't so i got suck with it and is now relisted feel free to bid". those are his exact words for re-listing it. i would leave the feedback negative. you cant just change your mind afterwards when you see people are interested and think you can maybe get more $$$ for something.

Dont change your feedback. I would consider change the wording as jay suggested as is more descriptive. If you look at the other bid (which to me looks like he bought his own product) he did the same thing, wrote a revised note as to what is the reserve...

Re: Bad ebay experiences

the fact that he relisted the item before the issue was 100% settled is what I find shady.

the only way I would change his feedback would be if he sent you the part for free.

leave the negative feedback and walk away.

Well I tried to go back in and change the wording on the negative feedback to be more descriptive but it won't let me. Maybe somebody on here knows a way to change it?

Once feedback is submitted, that's it, no editing or removing.

I saw that as well. I put this in my items to watch. Not even 1 bid on the thing. He now has it relisted again. I hope he gets stuck with this thing forever.

Has ebay responded to you about the complaint? I would make them do their job.

Bob is right, make e-bay step up and do the job.
this guy selling is a dirtbag. there are a lot of decent folks buying and selling, sadly, there are enough low lifes to ruin it.
i hope he chokes on it.

Re: Bad ebay experiences

I have not heard anything from ebay and probably won't. The only reply I received was to thank me for bringing this to their attention. It also says in the email that the reporting party will not be made aware of the outcome. Personally I think that sucks. I was the one that got screwed I should have every right to know what happens to the prick.

That's because ebay can't do and won't do s**** about it. Proof is this guy is still posting his junk. I learn long time ago ebay "protections" don't protect you from scamers and dirtbags. I know, o got burned for abot $125 years ago and absolutely nothing happened.
Good luck!
