In dumping fuel last fall, I jumped the purple and yellow/purple wire to operate the fuel pump. Everything went just great. It emptied about 4 gallons from the tank. Now today, first time to run the engine , fuel pump would not energize, engine died every 40-45 seconds, hooked up a portable tank and the pump did not pull gas. Jumped the same wires but still not energizing.
Any way to double check ift he pump is really shot before buying replacement?
