Bad fuel pump?

What will symptoms of a bad fuel pump be? Im having trouble with my boat opening up at full throttle. 1973 evinrude 115.

Engine runs out of gas and slows down.
You can bypass the fuel pump by having someone squeeze the primer bulb constantly at high speed, if the engine continues to run properly you most likely have a fuel pump problem. You could also have a restricted high speed orifice in a carb causing the engine to slow at WOT.

How do you fix the restricted high speed orifice in carb if thats the problem?
