No, no way no how could I imagine that a piece of corn would ever make it to a carburetor of an engine running on pump gas in the USA if said corn was to have been carried through fuel production within said fuel.

EDIT: I decided to remove the last sentence on the chance that some might find it offensive

And I would like to apologize to H2ocwilly[OP] who has obviously, long ago, given up on getting any real help with his problem.
I hope you are able to sort out the many good ideas presented here, from the "Fluff".
