Sounds like you are on to the problem. You should be able to get new terminals crimped onto the existing cables if they are in good condition. Or you could just get new cables with the correct size terminals.

Thanks Seasport, I am now thinking of replacing the cables with the more flexable type, these copper ones are far to rigid even trying to turn the steering one is fighting against them and they keep pulling the grommet of the splashwell, will keep posted my progress. J.B.D.
