Why do you keep throwing away all that Organic Seasoning ?
:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: because it needs further processing before I want it near my food , fish eat it  I seen them , felt a bit sorry for the guy that jumped into our spot when we moved 🤣

Wow that turned into quite the discussion. After additional research, I agree with the one pump being discontinued theory. I can only find one pump and the line has been teed off. I also found that at the top of the tanks where the water comes into the wells, in a place you can only feel but not see, there is a quarter turn lever that shuts the flow of water to each particular tank. That way even with one pump you can direct which tank, or both, you fill.
Thanks for all of the input and ideas about the plumbing, how to best keep your catch fresh and ways to prepare them for eating. You guys are great.

Around my area we are experiencing hot days some near 100 degrees, the lake surface temps are 85 degrees. Have had bad experiences with live well storage and the fish spoiling in summer heat. That is when I switched to ice down right away and haven't had any spoil since. If your in cold water then a different story. In this heat, not much will survive for very long including us fishermen !!

I'm in Utah and where we fish the water temp is high 60's to lower 70's. We haven't had too much trouble keeping fish alive in the live well but icing sounds like the way to go. Thanks again for all of the input.

I have been icing my fish my whole
life. That’s just way I learned and have never thought of any other way. The only time we would use a live well was in catch and release tournaments and with those there were lots of boats in the area to take your catch to every so often and weight and measure them while they were still alive and well. If they weren’t healthy you didn’t get the points so it was important to go to a weight boat often.
