Basic Jig Setup for Rock fish? Will this work? 75-180 Ft water only

Was looking to get a Couple of set ups for jigging Sea water in North Ca, 75-180 ft water only Chart boat. QoH'z
20# Lings Are in the rocks and the Beast are coming !! Lots of" Gold,Copper Sliver,Reds-Snappers", china-Cod, Ocean trout Etc out there as well

Tiger stick BWCA022027 1p 7' 0" Action:Medium Heavy 3/4 - 8 oz lure 8Tips Metal
Penn 500 Jiggmaster w/ 20# P-Line Extra Strong

Any one have any info or Tips on Choosing a Tiger-rod For Jigging Using fly's and Squid Bait for Rockfish.
I see some 7' rods with All metal Shiny eye lids and Few that have Bold Gray Unpolished Color to the Eye's.
Then some Tiger Rod models Have The Fuji Inserts

Please also Suggest jigging reels that feature a Line Counter That are Decent for Sea Fishing?? Price not over $200 tho.

I don't have a boat that's big enough for that, but you say these fish are in the rocks. Is there an area down there where people fish for this stuff off the shore? I live in Nor Cal and am always looking for something new to catch
