However, for a young dude like you ... I recommend looking for an aluminum boat. Dual, side or center console with somewhere around a 50HP. You can tube behind a boat like that, and it's a good fishing boat. It's a good trolling hull, will make decent steam across the lake and carry a reasonable load. Shouldn't be too expensive to take care of or operate.

Because of the age I would say a little tinny would be best. If it was someone older I would say an openbow. I have the filler cushions in the bow and rear sundeck that I fish off of.
