I finally got my 2000 Bass Treacker on the lake for the first time. To my surprise, when I pulled the drain plug about two gallons of water came out. This, after about three hours on the lake.<br /><br />Now to be sure, we have two live wells and two bait wells on the boat all with holes accessing the lake. Obviously, I'm concerned that the boat is leaking, but from where?<br /><br />Can anyone with experience here give me some insight?<br /><br />Thanks<br /><br />wrjohns

next time you go to the lake don't drain the boat.Watch for leak on the outside of the boat in the driveway.

If you can access all of the hoses and fittings for your livewells and baitwell, check all the connections. If plastic fittings were used, they degrade over time and crack, and can cause leaks. Look your hull over, make sure there is no cracks or unrepaired damage. Look at your drainplug, clean or replace it and scuff the drain hole with steel wool so the plug seals better (I went through a water intrusion issue this spring and the drainplug being dirty was the culprit). Also, look at the bolts that hold the motor on, they may need to be removed and resealed with 5200. Good luck...

I had about the same problem check the presser tube to speed-o-meter may have a crack in it.
