Im trying to get my boat ready and the bathroom faucet is broken. It is a cheapo (Dura?) model with a shower diverter. I ordered a new one from Amazon, but it is different and doesn't work.
Old one: has a pipe out the bottom, between the hot/cold inlets That connects to a long hose that connects a handheld shower-head; all tubing for the shower-head is concealed inside the "vanity", and only the head itself sits exposed at counter-level. Pull it out of its hole and shower, etc. Put it back in when you are done.
Has a knob that looks like a sink stopper lever but it actually turns off water to faucet and then diverts it to the shower head.
New one: does not have the pipe to connect the shower head hose to. Has the "diverter" knob, but without the pipe to the shower head, I don't know how this would work.
I need help...I've been looking for two weeks now. I need a cheap solution, unfortunately.
