OK I was busy with other stuff... yes, I pulled the plugs and water poured out of both sides, at least seven of the eight cylinders. I put penetrating oil in for a couple of weeks every few days, but the engine remained seized. Bummer! So I have a guy tearing it apart soon, he has rebuilt boat engines but doesn't speak great English...
Question: In this engine rebuilding process, what should I replace? I have heard the oil cooler should be on the list, I think the water pump as well, definitely the exhaust manifolds, alternator, starter? I am interested in your ideas gentlemen, and thank you in advance.
Oh, and if Bond-O says yer cylinders are rusting, you should listen!
