Battery charger help

Need to get a charger for my bass boat. I have two deep cycle wired in series for the trolling motor. I am thinking about getting an on board battery charger. I am looking at a Cabela's PROSPORT 12 12 volt 2 bank charger. <br /><br />My question: with this charge both batteries at the same time? Or will I have to charge each battery individually. Would you recomend one of these? Any feed back or ideas would be great.<br />Thanks.....

Haven't used the ProSport charger so can't offer any info there. I can highly recommend the DualPro chargers though. If nothing else their customer service is great. If something goes wrong with one of their chargers, you call, they send a new one and return shipping for the old one. I'm running the DualPro SE 2 bank, 10 amp and it works great. I leave it plugged in all the time and batteries are alwasy ready to go. Check out their web site for info on all the chargers. Here's something from their site on 24v set ups.<br /><br />2. I have a 24 volt trolling motor and my two deep cycle trolling batteries are wired in series. Do I have to remove the jumper wire between the batteries when I charge the batteries with my Dual Pro Charger?<br /><br />No, there is no need to remove the series jumper because the Dual Pro consists of two totally independent chargers which share nothing in common. This allows for both batteries to independently but simultaneously charged.
