Battery Help Needed

Flying 2000 mi to pickup my boat and I know I will need a battery to get the drive up, no idea what type of battery I need. Its a 2007 Chaparral 214 Sunesta with a 5.0 Merc. Whhat type battery do I need? Can I get one at a local car parts place?

get a "marine battery" a little more money, but when you own a boat, everything is "a little more money" ...

I moved this to Boat Topics. Very general, so not thinking Mercruiser and since we have a short fuse thought you;d get more attention here in Boat Topics. With that said . . . I am thinking any Group 24 starting battery will be fine. Yes, Marine rated would be nice, and even Autozone and Walmart have them. $100.
