Battery position bayliner 642

Hi Folks

I know this is going to be like asking how long is a bit of string as it varies due to loading however I could do with a couple of other opinions. I have a bayliner 642 and want to twin the batteries I was going to put both on the starboard side but a friend said that by doing this and adding my fridge on that side I will make a huge difference in balance on the boat. Total weight increase shouldn't be more than 60lb is this really going to make a huge difference as I would have a massive job moving water tanks and pumps if it has to go on the other side?

Appreciate anyone's thoughts on this

IMO don't think it will be a huge difference, just a small one. The driver is on the same side and adding one more battery and a fridge should not be that much. If you had trim tabs it would be of very little issue. About like have a small kid sit on one side

Well that's what I thought. I don't have trim tabs but the fridge can be moved anyway. Thanks for the input

60 lbs should not affect your boat much, I doubt it would even be really noticable unless you were looking for it. I would just go with what is easy.

Thanks for the input. I put one on either side in the end and its balanced perfectly.
