From your previous posts I see you have a voltmeter and you know how to use it.
Start at the battery terminals (the lead terminals, NOT the lugs) and with a helper hitting the key work your way along the the connection points until you find out where the 12 Volts turns into 7 Volts.
The whole exercise should only take 5 minutes.
