I have 2 LEE,Marine Sealed batteries, about once a month on my work bench,I connect a 10amp auto-charger to them. Within 2 mins. the indicator shows FULL charge. Can I now assume that they are in Good shape?

Pursuit,

The voltage you see could be just what I call "surface" voltage.

Most auto parts stores will load test them for you. Watch them do it though because they'll try to sell you two new batteries.

They will have a chart that will show what percentage of cold cranking amps (rated) that the batt's should hold for a given amount of time.

If you have something that is 12 volt that you can disable the ignition on, you can do it yourself. Just crank something over with one of the batt's and watch voltage-if it drops much below 10 v. they're suspect.
