WillyBWright are you saying, and it does seem to make sense, that a batt switch will reduce corrosion in the engine bay area. The reason I ask is that I was given one new in the package but have never had problems with the battery running low so I never installed it, will it cut down on corrosion?

WillyB you had said something about this in an earlier thread on a sending unit and i did not want to ask a new question on someone else's thread.

We'll have to wait for WillBWright to answer.I feel you'll always have corrosion in the bilge, but keeping battery voltage out of it will lessen corrosion.

DHP

It makes sense, just never thought of putting the two together.
