Battery to Switch Panel Wire Size

Would 10 AWG be sufficient to run between the battery and fused switch panel (length about 4feet) with typical house loads such as fish finder, nav lights, led house lights, vhf radio, bilge pump, stereo (no added amp)??
I get the calculation for each appliance or device, but what about the combined loads? I'm assuming you don't necessarily account for everything being run all at the same time or do you?

10 gauge wire is fine for the boat harness. 16 gauge wire is fine for branch circuits to your accessories.
