Hi All,
I have decided to take the plunge, as it were, and sell my corvette and buy a boat, (I can only afford one toy at a time!). I want to store the boat in the garage, so my "hard stop" is 19' sitting on the trailer. Through internet browsing , I seem to be gravitating towards the Bayliner. That is not to say I would not consider another brand, I am certainly open to any advice as to what would be a decent boat in the $8Kiish range. I would like an I/O and swim platform, looking for something to cruise around with the wife and tube/wakeboard with the kids.
Anyway, I contacted 2 differnet dealers who had Bayliner 175's for sale either here or on boat trader to ask them what the overall length of the boat on the trailer is from tip of motor to the tip of the trailer tongue (assuming I modified tounge to flip up) and neither one got back to me (you'd think in this economy they would not blow off a potential customer). So, I was hoping that somebody out that had one would know the overall length so I could see if this was really a boat that would fit my needs (and garage).
Also open to alternatives that would meet my 19' length on trailer criteria.
Thanks!
Jim
PS Anybody want an '85 corvette???
