my 2556 flybridge wont plane i have a 5.7 mercruiser tryed various props pressure test ok gear ratio checked and ok max speed around 9knts anyone got any ideas

Welcome to iboats!

There are a number of possibilities here. What RPMs does the engine turn at wide open throttle with your usual prop? Is the bottom of the hull clean?

hi thanks for reply at full throttle we are getting around 3500rpms hull new antifouled in june

You should be getting 4400 - 4800 RPM at WOT (check your engine manual for specific numbers). Something is clearly wrong here. Did this situation come on gradually or was this sudden? Some things to consider: When was the last tune-up? Is the flame arrestor clean? Do you have good fuel pressure and flow?
