1988 bayliner capri 1902 (19') cuddy with a 1988 force 125 hp outboard.
net weight is approx 1775.
the current prop is a 13.5 x 15 stainless steel constant pitch
according to iboats the factory prop is 14x13
i dont know the manufaturer of the ss prop but it does have p699 stamped inside the hub.
i tow a tube with no problem and the ss has a great holeshot, im just looking for a bit more top end (sorry my speedo and tach do not work)
would the 1\2 inch in prop diameter make any difference?
i would assume that the 14x13 prop would hurt my top speed a bit correct?
would a 14x16 do what i want? or should i stick with the 13.5?
im obviously new to boating and just dont want to blow a few hundered $$ messing with multiple props to find the right one.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
my clymers states wot is 4500 rpm if that helps any.
