I don't post much here anymore, kinda covered others now as getting old myself, but still getting "wet" 64 years now..(still 3 boats!), started at 3 with parents. But member since 2004, 5171 post. Had to ask a question on changing a 3# coil old Force. jerryjerry05 had the fast answer, and has 12742 post? Thanks the info! Got me thinking here. Gone now the "Godfather" JB, Don S...MASTER WRENCH..(moved down here from Alaska, lived ocean here 60 miles but never met), can't think his name or handle, but from FL, a Mod. Sent me for ship cost battery cables rigging my 15 ft XS 1500 flatbottom drag boat. .And Frank Acampora?. Simple WIZARD on anything Force! Miss those guys............(and THANK YOU FOR LIVING!).........RIP...

good to see ya back Scaaty.
i agree, i miss these folks that are gone now too. they had much to offer. they gave their time and expertise to help all of us here. their passion for boats and boating helps many people. these folks have given me a much better idea about how boats work and how to repair them myself. their vast knowledge has saved me thousands of dollars in repairs. + now i understand my boat much better than i did before i joined iboats. i have much respect and admiration for these selfless folks and thank them from the bottom of my heart. i miss them.

and i'd be derelict if i didn't say thanks to all the folks that are still around giving help to us regular folks that are not boat experts. they deserve much respect and thanks also... these folks know who they are and i thank them very much too....

this is a great community. boaters are good people.....

JB had his own color of "wit". I enjoyed Frank's postings as he was always looking for ways to improve his "Forces". Do remember Don. Also there are some still kicking that don't post anymore, or seldom they pop up with a contribution.....Dan in S. Florida, Silvertip, and Walleyehed, to name a few.
