Well, you would think his boat would have a better nav system to make its way through the fog. Ol 41 got his boat stuck on the beach! Darned fog....
Wish I had the secret service as a recovery team too!

KENNEBUNK, Maine ? Former President George H.W. Bush's 38-foot Fountain Center Console boat was steered aground Gooch's Beach on Monday evening, when the vessel was thrown off course by a series of swells, according to Jim Appleby, the former president's personal aide.
No injuries were reported.
Bush's boat, Fidelity IV, was returning to Kennebunk River after spending an ?afternoon run? just off of the Ogunquit coast, Appleby said. Bush has a home in Kennebunkport.
Appleby said the boat was having trouble steering through heavy fog at approximately 3 p.m. when it missed Kennebunk River and landed ?right in the middle? of the popular public beach.
?You couldn't see two feet in front of your face,? Appleby said of the fog that Bush's boat failed to navigate. ?The fog was probably as bad as I've seen it up here.?
Appleby was in his office at Walker's Point, 243 Ocean Ave., at the time of the accident. He said he didn't know who was steering the boat at the time, but that Bush and family members were onboard.
Bush's staff worked with the U.S. Secret Service until 8:30 p.m. to remove the boat from the middle of the beach.
?We had to wait out the tide until we had to get it all squared away,? Appleby said.
Kennebunk police were called for assistance at 8:17 p.m. when approximately 500 people showed up at the beach to witness the event, according to Appleby and police, who kept onlookers a safe distance from the boat.
Appleby said some people walked close to the boat out of curiosity, but that once police arrived, ?the people were very cooperative.?
The boat, according to Appleby, is still in running condition, although it did sustain minor damage.
?I wouldn't say it's good as new,? he said.
