I need to replace the bearing/bushing on my forward and reverse gears, I am having trouble finding the babbeted (?) bearing that was originally there. Does anybody know if I was to remachine an oil-lite bearing if it would hold up as well since it's a major hassle to rebuild every couple of years just because of a bearing.
