bearing replacement

hey guys, just got a trailer today from a friend and on the way home the left bearing blew out and im not to sure what to do from here...luckly i was right on the corner of my block when it happened so i got it home, but from here im just unsure how to size the replacement bearing...any advice?

Remove the old bearings. Most will have a number on the back side of the race.

If not, most auto parts stores can match them.

Best to remove wheel hub, take a calliper and start measuring / comparing its details within:

As seen in above drill down chart (column B, C & D), not all boat axle spindles (bearings and seals) are the same.

Notes:
- When replacing bearing in one hub, it might be best to replace ALL bearings - in both hubs.
- When replacing bearings, best to replace seals in both hubs as well.
- And if trailer has brakes, do measure its remaining PAD thickness and replace (if needed) as well.

And, "do shop around". Selling prices for the exact same parts do dramatically vary.

you guys are awesome thanks so much for the help! ill have this thing fixed hopefully tomorrow...this week is my boats first launch!
