Bearing Tabs / Notches

[HVAC Cruiser]

its been 11 years since I built my last engine.I remember some stuff, how to degree a cam, clearances, etc. I just finished laying the crank, mic'ed it plastigauged it etc. I just put my first slug in and shoot I cant remember the tab alignment for the rod bearings- caps, both tabs on the same side????????
I want to say thats right, don't want to make a mistake but my memory is failing me
Anyone off the top of their heads , HELP

Both on the same side. Did you look in the maintenance manual?

Thanks bud, I thought that's the way it is, but for a split second I doubted myself. As far as looking at a manual, I really haven't looked at one for engines in 30 years up until 11 years ago, I was putting SBC together like candy I still remember all the spec's had been building all my life. Wifey watched me hit the wall at 100+ one time to many and said it was time for me to stop

Age and time away is a heck of a thing guess its time for me to start depending more on books and less on memory lol

Thanks again, back to the basement now, I want to try to get the heads on and the cam degreed before the day is done
