Re: Bears Packers, Monday Nite, should I go ??
Ok, I'm home. The last 30 miles were bad, dense fog, 30-40" visibility. 20 mph.
Several co-workers were also at the game, one of them hit 2 cows on the way home, totaled his truck. Don't know how they got out onto the road, but cows do strange things in the fog, so do the deer.
No photos from the smart phone, because I have a dumb phone.
Drove over Sunday morning, fish the river up stream within a mile of the dam.
Noon till 3:45, 5 walleyes, 1 smallie, a 6 whitebass.
Monday, hit Cabelas new store (small), and a few specialty shops for Christmas gifts.
Ate at Curly's Pub, not terrible impressed, a $20 meal should at least fill your belly, but 90 minutes later I was eating a burger and nachos.
Will spend my $$ at Longhorn Steak House next time.
The game was tough to watch after Rodgers went down.
Every one on the offensive line forgot to pass block for the rest of the game.
On the defensive side, every running play or short pass to the outside was good for the Bears.
At least they were able to stop them when they tried running up the middle.
Lambeau really feels cozy now with the south end zone closed in.
For anyone going to a game in the future: try to get seats that are row 20 or higher.
If you are in the corner of the end zone, try for row 30 or higher.
Here are a few photos.

Here's a shot of one of the many party houses. You can rent people's houses and yards for tailgating. I was inside the stadium looking out across the front entrance, across the street (Lombardi Av.) and into the party house. It has about a 20x30' addition with a deck and bbq area.
Here is a young lady in full Holstein attire, with cheesehead and jersey,
utterly FANtastic.
Here is a photo just to show how nice and clear the new video screen is.
Anyone have tickets for the Packers Steelers game?
