95 is fine. Its the 105+ range where I start to complain about the heat.

It’s 26 and the sun’s shining bright.
I’m working outdoors with just a light sweat shirt on and I’m starting to sweat. It’s amazing how the body adapts to the climate your in after a few days.

Mercury Verado (supercharged) and the optimax (oil cooler)
Owners manual says to flush and store the Opti in vertical upright position.

Buddy has twin 275 verados on his transom. Drain and store in vertical position as well

It is not cold enough here, so heading up to the Boston area, maybe it will be a little colder there ...

Stick around Pa a little longer, expected temps in single digits with 40 to 50 MPH wind this coming weekend in Montgomery county. Wind chills -15. Fun times, can’t wait.

Every outboard I have ever owned has the mfgr. stating that their motors should be stored vertically if temps are going to go below freezing ! That is the only position where they completely drain.

The cold destroyed a fishing boat that had gone out of Gloucester. The salt water spray froze onto the deck and rigging, it became top heavy, capzised and went down together with its crew. No survivors. It was a boat and crew that were featured in the "Deadly Catch" tv series. Let them rest in peace.

Was talking to dad the other day... he was joking about how cold it's been and that we'll find out how well the non-toxic -50 actually works.

It’s very sad. RIP to the Captain and Crew.
We lost a couple local scallop fishermen on New Year’s Day. A squall came in tangled a line in the lower unit and flipped the boat all in a matter of seconds.

Mid 30’s are headed this way next week.
I might get to see the ground again soon.
I don’t mind snow but the ice is not my friend.

Highs in the low to mid 50’s with lows in the 40’s this coming week.

Three more weeks until the boat comes out of hibernation

We are now in the 40-50's and possible 60's in the coming weeks. Snow melting fast, but now we will have a very sloppy muddy mess to deal with. I don't mind snow as long as it isn't extreme as a have toys to handle the snow. Haven't had enough snow to use them in the past three winters, so this winter was kinda fun to be able to play. However, can't wait until boating time arrives !!

I'm looking at getting maybe 3-4 inches tonight into tomorrow. The 40 degrees yesterday I was outside in a tee shirt and shorts. Almost threw on some flip flops.
