Really nice shop though... good job.

Was offered $2763 in cash 2 hours after loading it on that trailer. Thats how much the man could scrounge up. Laughed at him and said sorry, not for sale. The car is worth way too much to let that blond haired cutie in it when she hits 16, but it's her car so........ When I finish it (about 2 years of tinkering and $2000 or so) I could build 3 of these shops with what the car will be worth. No joke.

Great looking garage.the el camino will be sweet when restoredim asumeing it'll go back orginal,it would make a nice hot rod too.but with a 16 year old wanting drive it you gona have your hands full.

$2170 or so in metal, a little over $1100 in wood, about $30 more in fastners. I can't count the slab cause its always going to be there, fire,wind storm, etc. but it was $6000 for it. Just cause you can find one at a price doesn't mean hers won't be worth more. Those are in pretty good shape, esp the montana car. My daughters has fact a/c, p/s, p/b. It'll be worth it when its done. Sure we could have made money off it but the real point is that she has wanted a elky since she was about 6 and now she has one. Can you imagine being able to drive a 47 yo resto-rod to highschool?

My daughter thought I was going to give her one of my 914 Porsche’s when she got her license...... yea, right, like I wanted to go scrape her off a tree someday.... she got the Datsun pickup until she went 2 years without a ticket, then she got the 4 cylinder one, with the warning, "one ticket and it's back to the Datsun"
