Been out of the loop for a while, How is everyone?

Hey all! I have been busy with house stuff and havent had time for anything. How is everyone? Anyone launch yet? Finally had some time to pull the winter cover off the other day, hooked everything back up and fired up that chevy. Sure did run nice. Cant wait to drop her in the water. The local lake is still a few feet shy of the dock so I am SOL right now. How's Wildwood look Ken-my-friend? lol.. Picked up a new blower motor for the boat and a top for it, have a few alterations to make to get it to fit properly. Maybe once I find some extra cash I can work on the paint and interrior this year.

hey rick. my wife and i are doing well and enjoying our first season on the Doral here in the Washington DC area.

funny. i've been busy with the boat stuff and haven't had time for anything else. i spend most of the week preparing for the weekend projects (ordering parts, researching/planning, gathering tools). there's always something. love it.

Good to hear! Wish I had more time for boat stuff but ..... thems the brakes.. Wow awful quiet in here now, the Doral section used to be a fairly busy place.

Still here, just off the back of the worst boating summer in Sydney since 1990, I managed 10 or 11 trips all summer!
When it wasn't raining there was so much rubbish in the water from the rain that we couldn't leave the marina anyway.
Did highlight the need for new covers though, 5-6 years old and they have shunk to the point where the velcro doesn't catch anymore and the rain comes through the joints.
Sad to see Doral gone again, I was just getting a reasonable level of service after all these years and now they've gone!!!

Well hello again,
Wildwood is looking good. Hate to say it but I may not be a doral owner much longer. We are looking at a 21ft Marada bowrider this weekend and have a feeling we will be buying it. If so we will be out at wildwood with it next weekend.
