beeping???!!!???

hello!!! i have a 2006 262 cobalt. out in the boat saturday and out of the blue this beeping starts. checked all the gauges oil,battery etc,etc... ok! the depth finder seems ok and reading. check under the hatch,belts etc etc.. ok! this beeping is going on and on. can't find the dam speaker that makes the noise!! tried unpluging gauges and stuff under the dash to try to find whats causing this!!! any help would be great!!! thanks!! steve

on mercruisers there is an alarm when you are over-temp, low oil, or when the trim motor oil is low - if you have an internal tank. on a 26' you may have one. If all fuses are gone, you may be dealing with engine alarms... but that is normally a LOUD alarm, not a beep.


You may want to pull fuses and see if you can identify what is alarming.

i'll check all the fuses and recheck all the other fluids, maybe i missed something?? thanks for the help!!!!!
