Re: Beer Belly Removal

I've been trying to lose weight and strengthen for skiing this summer. Lots of situps and fewer carbs in the diet.

I can't seem to get time to work on the boat, too many other projects in the works, gotta get them out of the way so I can do a couple things to the boat and put it in the water and run it, 70 and 80 degree weather here already and I go too much to do to even think about using the boat. That sucks. One other thing, I am hoping all this work will work off the beer belly. :D

Re: Beer Belly Removal

I dont know if any of you on here have ever tried it but the P90X system does work. I did it for about 60 days last year and lost about 40lbs unfortunately the work outs are about an hour long six days a week. Working several jobs I just didnt have the time to continue. I do want to get back into it.

Re: Beer Belly Removal

The only way I am getting/got rid of mine was to cut a lot of bread out of my diet and then take mega doses of Vit D = 5,000 units per day. And guess what guys ............... I have aready lost 31 lbs and still losing  I can't do work outs because of a bad lower back (have had 6 serguries) so I just sit there jumping to conclusions for exercise
All I can say is "Only you can prevent beer bellies" :p

Re: Beer Belly Removal

the vit d is helping with your back, its main function is to aid in absorption and keeping calcium in the bones. its not helping in the weight loss. I take 5k daily also because of the wls. and lack of fat absorption.

Re: Beer Belly Removal

Lost 27lbs and now I'm working on the definition. I went from a beer belly to no belly so I'm pretty excited about the boating season. Plus I dont get winded running up and down the stairs. Less carbs, and basically less calories and a bit of exercise did it for me.

Seems most boaters share the same routine...skinny up before Spring, gluttonize Summer, Fall, Winter. I'm on Atkins now, down 13 lbs with 10 to go. I just might make my goal before launch day when I will allow myself to get back in beer mode and reinflate. :D

Down by 7, hoping another 10 or so. Last year I did something similar and began to exercise more. I found it helped me out more in wake boarding and reducing cramping in my feet. And I had more strength.

What you people don't understand is the thing called "Conservation Of Energy". What that means is that what you lost, I found (and it don't look good on me either).
