I got talked into fishing last season with a guy friend and we trolled up river it do some salmon fishing. We didn't catch a thing, at all, nothing to say the least. But we did have fun and told jokes. Sun was going down so we headed back to the park about 5miles down river. I would say in some spots you can see the bottom and of course being a female reminded him how deep the water was in some of the low line areas.. I hear this,"I been up and down this river more times than I count." I said, "Well you told me your as blind as a bat at nite,"and with that being said I just happen to remind him about the 8 beers he drank and our last trip out, when he banked us on low gravel rocks by the dock with 4 people watching and laughing.. Well, he did it again to us in the same dam spot, this time I made him get out of the boat and get us off the rocks, becuase there is no way I am getting in cold water again. Anyway, I hear off into the distance a guy yelling hey fred you got to see this, It's Randy and Barbara stuck in the same Place again.. Hey Randy did you save us some Beer.. Yep, I'll be a minute if Barb would stand on the otherside dam boat so I can get the boat off the stump.. My last words were,"Next time ol'man am driving, becuase Randy your brains are shot after the sun starts to set and 8 beers is your limit, was my response back. Of course everyone laughed. I did however get a "pippy" Salmon(black jack) from a guy that nite as we were coming in. Needless to say, he put a nice 3 inche hole in his bass tracker..Quick fix and we were out 2 days later and I learned to drive his boat.
