A recent study found the average American walks about 900 miles year.
Another study found Americans drink, on average, 22 gallons of beer a year.
That means, on average, Americans get about 41 miles to the gallon.
Kind of makes you proud to be American

hmm...my walking/beer intake ratio is way off. 22 gallons of beer ?!? 22 gallons=235 12 oz. beers. Thats 20 beers a month, thats only 5 beers a week. I walk alot more than that too. 900 miles per year =75 miles a month=2.5 miles per day. That must be somebody that sits at a desk. I guess that with all my beer intake, my mileage is like the equivilant of maybe a chevy 350. .

So what would my mileage be if I've only drank 2 beers in the last 3 years? Quit drinking over 10 years ago. Now just drink one with special friends and then its just one. Just don't care for the taste any more and if I drink more than 3 I'm pucking my guts up. Just not worth it. The good part is I don't have to worry about DUI's anymore and look at all the money I've saved by not drinking. And I weave all over the place when I drive hopeing I'll get stoped plus when you drive like that the other people give you all the room you need.....ANIMAL

Well Animal, most folks where your at can't drive straight any way!
Used to live west of Cave Springs, the place got obliterated by the new airport, the only thing you can still see is a small pond in the satellite pics.

Around there a lot of folks never even bothered to by a tag.

Given that they're using "average" I guess it would have to be "average" beer too.

I drove a Jeep CJ5 around for 3 years with an out dated tag and never got caught,,,but I never washed the Jeep ether,,,LOL....ANIMAL
