Where did you find the bimini for the front? I have a SB 525 and am looking for a second bimini

Good question. My guess is go through a South Bay dealer. I ordered my boat with 2 so I would assume it was ordered through South Bay by the dealer

I just finished cleaning mine with the Shark cleaner and am bebating polishing versus cleaning and sealing. Its a dock boat.

I tried a scotchbrite with some AWESOME on it and it cleaned off better than the polish.

If the boat sits all summer in the water at a dock, you can't use shark hide on it. But I am not sure if that's what you meant by "dock boat"

We had the dealer put Sharkhide on our boat when it was new and never regretted it. Our boat stays in the water all year, the bottom will get a little dirty but it comes off rather easy.
The part of the toons that are out of the water look as good as the day we got our boat.

You were smart to listen to yourself and will not be disappointed.

Interesting, when I spoke to Sharkhide and was told that the product is not designed to be used that way and may leave the owner frustrated. If your experience is different than that, then that is really good to know. According to their website, for boats stored in water, the product may last a few months to a couple of years. Maybe they are just being very conservative because of complaints and don't want to overpromise.

I think they are talking about the bottom of toons being underwater. The Sharkhide will not help there, but the top of the toons are still like new. I did notice that the scum from sitting all winter at the dock did come off easier than my older 2 pontoon boats that we have owned, without Sharkhide on them.

Then again maybe Lake Lanier is cleaner this year?

our lake requires floating docks - with boat numbers - so rehabed pontoon boats are the dock of choice.

Question....are you still getting a water line and discoloration of the tunes under the surface? I assume you are, correct?

I am 3 months with Sharkhide and still like new above and below the waterline. I can however tell where i missed a spot. Luckily it is below the waterline, but I know its there and it bothers me. Im slightly OCD with my boat though.
