I have a tube and the noise is a non-issue. It sounds good getting up on plane, but once she's going it's not noticeable or annoying IMO.

I do not know why anyone would want to use the bellows anymore? I have the tube and love it. No soecial tool to use either...

Tube is the way to go. I ordered a kit from here and didn;t pay attention to the tube or bellows option. Got the bellows. I have an 87. The old ones were worn but not torn. Left 'em on there for ease of installation. (the oblong end was already stretched and did not remove the shield end). Got the new one on the shelf for now. I didn;t want to spend another 60 bucks for the tube. Depends what you have and what you want.

Ok,, fella's,,, you've been right so far !! Tube it is !!! Getting motor back in this weekend,, coupler was wiped out !!
Then I will start on backend,, will order a complete rebuild kit,,, just worrying about getting hinge pins out,,Read all the post about them,, just hope they break free with a little heat & a breaker bar !!!

Later,,,
