Anyone have suggestions on the best brand of finish to use when replacing wood components below deck? I'm not referring to fiberglass encapuslated structural wood, just things like gas tank hold-downs, ski locker floor etc. thanx

How about fiberglassed non structural wood? If you plan on keeping the boat for a number of years this is the best way to keep water causing rot out. Second best would be a liberal of epoxy resin - not poly. There ain't no third best.

Thanx for the replies. Another ? on the same subject. What is the gray-speckled top coat that is sprayed over the fiberglass in the bilge area and ski locker? and where can you purchase this?
