If it does turn out that the tank is foamed in along the bottom and sides, you can cut into the foam along the sides fairly easily and then maybe pull some of the foam out from one end. At that point, you may be able to get a (strong) lifting strap under the end of the tank and use it to pry the end up, which will start to break the grip of the foam.
If the tank is merely fastened it, it should not be too hard . . . but in your pictures, I did not see any mounting brackets, etc that would indicate so.
