Ive gotten to the part of my project when i have to put the bench back in.. the last supports weren't that great. so i just wanna see how you guys have done it. or how the bench is set up on your boats.. thanks

more questions. are you going to be using a built in fuel tank, or portables store behind the seat. do you need easy access, or just a flip down back.

i have the built in. but im waiting till next season to put the hoses in.. the top in the picture actually flips up so that i have easy access to to the battery and the portables and anythign else i put back there

I've seen people build box type seat supports, three sided plywood, then attach to the stern/gunwales at various places.

My own bench is going to be free standing with storage space below it, so I'm welding up a frame out of steel.

My Sea Ray has a 3 compartment wood box for the base. Right now the top is just a piece of plywood, but will eventually be 3 plywood bottom cushions with cleats on the bottom to locate them.

im going to put some carpet in front of it on the floor and then layer vertically attached to the support so you dont see the wood.

Looks like it should hold a coupla 400 pounders easily.
It alos looks like access to storage underneath might be a little awkward.
