Bennett Trim tab

Was wondering if any one was having the same problem....when i put the tabs in the "bow down" position the pump unit sound as it should and it "bottoms out" ...when i retract the the tabs it makes like a winey sound almost like it is getting air....and does not top out like when the bottoms do when the "bottom out"....they do retract but the motor still sound like the line is not bled....plenty of fluid....? Help and thank you

That is the way mine works also. Been that way for 25 years and works perfect. Do not run it down until the motor stops. No need to put that much pressure on the tubing.

The Trim Tab pump is Just like the Power Trim pump,...........<br /><br />It Builds Pressure Only in 1 direction,......<br /><br />Gravity Lowers the Drive,....And Springs in the rams Raise the Trim Tabs,....... The pump is Only Allowing oil to return to the pump,...........<br /><br />In Other Words,....... That's the way it's Supposed To Work...............
