I had to remove some kinda of sealant to remove the top part of the trim tabs pump from the hull of the boat. I am wondering what do i need to do to seal the top part of the trim tab to hull of the boat?

3m 4200 is used in....on ....around any below waterline applications where a sealant or glue is needed.

you can go with 5200.....but then the installation is permanent....the 5200 does not come off to easy.

Home depot sells small tubes of 3m5200 however........ it is near permanent and it takes forever to dry...... up to a week but I promise it will NEVER leak. If you use it......be patient. The 4000 series dries faster and there is a fast drying formula of 5200 available but it will cost more money and could be a pain to find.
